True Alpha Trading, LLC (“True Alpha Trading,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling your information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you:

  • Access or use the True Alpha Trading Tools App (“Tools App”)
  • Connect your brokerage account through Schwab’s OAuth system
  • Purchase or access our courses, coaching, or digital products
  • Interact with our emails or content
  • Communicate with us

By using our Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

This Policy applies to True Alpha Trading only and not to third-party websites or services.

1. Definitions

  • “Services”: Our website, Tools App, online courses, products, and all related offerings.
  • “Personal Information”: Information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual.
  • “Usage Data”: Technical, device, diagnostic, and analytics information automatically collected.
  • “Brokerage Data”: Read-only financial account information retrieved via Schwab OAuth when you connect your Schwab account.
  • “Market Data”: Market-wide data such as quotes and contract specifications provided through APIs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect three main categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

Examples include:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Billing and payment information (processed by third parties)
  • Inputs or values you enter into the Tools App
  • Messages or forms submitted to us
  • Course-related submissions or uploads

B. Information Automatically Collected

This may include:

  • IP address
  • Device and browser type
  • Operating system
  • Usage and interaction logs
  • Cookies and similar technologies
  • Referral URLs
  • Site navigation behavior

C. Information Collected Through Schwab OAuth (Brokerage Connectivity)

If you choose to connect the Tools App to your Schwab account, Schwab will authenticate you on their website through Schwab’s secure OAuth login flow.

After authorization, Schwab may provide us read-only access to:

  • Account balances
  • Positions and holdings
  • Read-only transaction history
  • Market data available through Schwab’s APIs
  • Other Schwab-authorized financial information

We do NOT receive or store:

  • Schwab usernames or passwords
  • MFA credentials
  • Trading authority or permissions
  • Account custody information
  • Ability to place trades or modify your brokerage account
  • Sensitive identity or bank information

OAuth Access Tokens

  • Issued by Schwab
  • Expire automatically (typically within 7 days)
  • Must be renewed by the user via Schwab’s login
  • Can be revoked at any time by the user in Schwab’s security settings

This access is strictly read-only and limited to the permissions you authorize.

D. Information Collected During Live Sessions

If you participate in live coaching sessions, webinars, group calls, office hours, or similar interactive offerings, we may collect and store audio, video, chat messages, and screen-shared content associated with those sessions.

Participation in live sessions constitutes consent to such recording, as further described in our Terms of Use.

Recordings may include your voice, image, display name, and written communications submitted during the session.

3. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store:

  • Brokerage login credentials
  • Schwab passwords
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Bank routing or account numbers
  • Trading authority, options approval levels, or permissions
  • Ability to trade, transfer funds, or modify accounts

We cannot view, access, or interact with your brokerage account beyond what is provided through Schwab’s limited read-only API.

4. How We Use Information

We use data to:

  • Operate and improve our website and Tools App
  • Display read-only brokerage information inside Tools App dashboards
  • Provide purchased products and services
  • Authenticate and manage user access
  • Improve tools, calculators, and features
  • Provide customer support
  • Send transactional emails
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  • Provide live and recorded educational content, internal training, and quality assurance

We retain information only as long as necessary for these purposes.

5. How We Do Not Use Information

We will never:

  • Sell or rent Personal Information
  • Use brokerage data for marketing
  • Access brokerage accounts to place trades
  • Provide personalized investment advice
  • Share brokerage data with advertisers
  • Use OAuth tokens for anything other than the Tools App functionality

Your data is used only to provide and improve the Services.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share limited information with:

  • Payment processors
  • Hosting providers
  • Cloud platforms
  • Customer support vendors
  • Email/communication tools
  • Security/analytics partners
  • Legal or compliance entities (if required)

Each third party is contractually required to safeguard your information.

We do not share brokerage data with marketers, advertisers, partners, or third parties except as required to operate the Tools App securely.

7. Market Data & Third-Party APIs

We may use third-party APIs—including, but not limited to, Schwab—to retrieve:

  • Market data
  • Contract specifications
  • Option chains
  • Publicly available trading information

Market data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete.
You should always verify data independently.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain sessions
  • Store preferences
  • Analyze performance
  • Improve user experience
  • Support marketing (with user consent where required)

You may disable cookies, but some features may not work properly.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including:
